About Peaberries…Inside of each coffee cherry, most beans are born twins or side-by-side resulting in a flat surface of both beans.
Peaberries occur when only one bean is fertilized inside the cherry bean and is rounded because of no twin to flatten it.
Some coffee connoisseurs suggest that the peaberry is infused with more flavor because of its independent nature and these beans are rare compared to the twin beans.
